During the week of August 22-28, 2010, you can have all your fines forgiven in exchange for a used book. Surely you've got some used books around the house- take in more than one! I know a few people who've stopped going to the library because they didn't want to face the fees... what a great opportunity to wipe the slate clean. (And, if your family is like mine, start racking up new fees...) You can have fines forgiven for multiple accounts, just bring in multiple books to any of RCPL's 11 locations. It's going on THIS WEEK. Don't put it off, put it on your to-do list and drop by the library to get your account cleared.
